New Year's Eve

This is my inspiration.......I saw this in the Paper Trends December 2006 and thought I want to make one of those........How cute it that idea of being able to use it year after year......So I set out to make one.......Of course mine is not finished yet but should be soon........I will post again then
This is what I have so far.......It's coming together pretty cute I must say.......
And no project gets done without my desk becoming a huge mess although this isn't that bad....

Well it's New Year's Eve.......I have been cooking getting ready for tonight.......Just a few friends coming over for food and of course drinks........I woke up to my wonderful husband bringing me breakfast in bed........How sweet is that........I am so lucky......Well I have not been posting but I have been doing stuff........I took a few pictures of the advent calendar that I'm making right now........The first pictures are of my inspiration.......Of course I thought I could change it and try to make it my own........So this is what I have so far........What do you think.......I might be lucky enough to have it ready for next year........How exciting is that.........Well I hope you all have a wonderful New Year and a safe evening........enjoy.......

Thursday*December 27th

This is a Shadow box that I made of Vernon & Me back in the day.....We still look kind of young in these pictures.....Where did the time go.....Oh yea we keep getting better with age
I made this out of a $2.00 chalk board using pink & brown as some art work for my craft room.....This is a picture of my BFF Jenny and myself when I was home this summer.....We are like those same girls back in high school when we get together.....She is my rock....The one I call to tell everything to...Sh is always there to listen well when she answers the phone ha ha.....She truly knows me like nobody else.......And she still loves me.....Imagine that......I love you Jenny and wish we lived closer to each other.....

Well I finished my mini books of Dominick and sent him on his way early this morning.......He called just a little while ago and said he was in California......I am going to miss my baby.....He has never been away for this long before.....What will I do to keep busy......Be crafty maybe......I sent off a few pictures to the Prima DT call.....Wonder how that will turn out......I am going to post a few pictures of things that I have been making.....I need to get back to work....

The Day After Christmas!

I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas......We did and we had two very happy boys.....The wii is the new favorite thing in our house.......Even I like it and I have been saying for years that I'm the mom and don't know how to play video games but this is so different........Just love it......Bowling if you need me......Well today I didn't go into the madness I stayed in my craft room which made me a much happier person.......I however don't seem to have got a whole lot done......I am finishing up a few little mini books of Dominick's school pictures for him to take to his dad, grandma and auntie tomorrow when he leaves for California......We sure will miss him and Jared is going to miss him most.......I am excited today for Joscie I know she is waiting to hear good news in the morning about becoming a DT member....GOOD LUCK GIRL....She will be so happy........So envision your parking space Joscie.......ha ha......I am going to get off this computer and get back to work........Love Love until tomorrow........

Can you believe it's already Christmas Eve.....Where has the time gone......I am happy to say that I have completed most of my projects (gifts for friends) and my cards went out on time....Which is a big deal for me.....So I started making these framed name signs for friends and family a few years ago and they have truly improved from my first one.....My friend Cheryl calls it her Kristina Original......Back to the story.....My long time friend and fellow crafter Joscie was suppose to get one in August for her birthday but I went on Vacation that month and things were so crazy that I started it and never completed it......I even gave her birthday card to her without signing it.....Such a Nerd I know.....So anyhow I decided that I was going to be sure to complete it and give it to her with her Christmas gifts......So now it counts as to gifts right.....Birthday present and Christmas present......They came over for dinner last and I gave her the sign and of course we had to laugh at the thought that she got her birthday present for Christmas.......I hope that she likes it and maybe I should start on her august 2008 birthday present now.....Well off to make sugar cookies with the boys......So much to still do........

More Christmas Stuff

Well as I said I have been a busy girl........I went to dinner last night with a few girls and made them each checkbook covers, notepads, and the cookie jars of course........They were all so happy which of course made me feel good.......I never got around to posting yesterday so here are the pictures of the projects I made.......I used the Simply Scrappin kit from Stampin up for the notepads and checkbook covers and some quickutz to put either names....I also made little christmas cards with some old scraps from last years cards I think it was pebbles Inc......I think they came out pretty cute what do you think?

More Christmas Cards

Well I never made it on here yesterday I was busy I guess making more stuff. I think that this is the time of year that I'm most productive! I made some more Christmas Cards with some really old Stampin up Simply Scrappin kits that I have had for way to long. I don't even really love that kit but came up with a few cards and am happy with the way they came out. I have also been making gifts for people. I will post pictures of them later today. Today I am going to Jared school to help his class make Christmas cards and little ornaments for their parents. It's always fun to see the kids stamping right. I will take some pictures of course. I got my lens back yesterday and am so happy to have gotten it just in time for Christmas. I have many things to get done! Didn't I say I was going to make some lists of things to get done? Guess I haven't gotten that far! I will post again later when I have more pictures!

Christmas Cards

Becky Higgins Christmas Card Kit. The Goal was to spend more time working on gifts and projects and not forever working on my cards. They did come together really quickly!

Well today is my first day! I'm new :~} A lot of my friends have been doing this for awhile and I actually tried to set it up February of 2007 but only put two posts so I closed the account. I hope this one goes a little better. With only five days till Christmas I'm sure there are a million and ten other things I should be doing right now! Shocking I know! I did finish my Christmas Cards and got them mailed out with a few boxes. I have been so busy making gifts for people and this year instead of baking many cookies I have made a jar with everything to make your own cookies. I'm not sure how good the recipe is but the Jar sure looks cute! We didn't get our Family Photos done but maybe I will send them out in January. I have started making lists of things I wish to accomplish throughout the week and will see if this helps to get things done? Jared is having his school program at Church tonight so we all need to get dressed and make sure the Camera battery is charged because I know I will take way to many pictures.
