Mojo Monday Sketch # 77

Today I have another Easter Card using the same American Crafts paper....I colored Tilda and she is so pretty...I have been putting crystal affects on my Prima flowers and I really love the look....For this card I started out following the Mojo Monday Sketch #77 and this is what I got...

The ribbon belt is 7 gypsies and I cant remember what the ribbon is...But this paper is a few years old....So happy to be using it up....I have a few more Tilda projects with this paper that I will be posting over the next few days....Happy Stamping.... This is a close up of the flowers and leaves....I have really enjoyed playing with some of the candy we have to dress up our projects....

Happy Easter

So is everyone on spring break or are we just especially early here in Hawaii....I have been keeping busy with the boys cause they are out of school and trying to get things together for our vacation next week...Well actually it's in a few days....We are all flying to Kauai for a week....Yippee....We are going to visit with some friends, take the kids camping on the beach for a few days and relax....I'm really looking forward to the time away....I have been to the vet and have everything set for Bella to go to the Kennel...Poor baby....We are going to miss her so much....

I have been busy making stuff to take for my friend and getting ready for Easter...It's going to be here before I know it....I love Easter, the candy, the colors, the spring....So this is my first Easter Card with my Whipper Snapper stamp....I hope you enjoy....

I really love this Bunny in a basket by Whipper Snapper and although I still don't really know how to color "white" as well as most....This one came out really well I thought....I also love this Happy Easter sentiment stamp that I got from Lisa at yourATCstore it's from Catslife Press they are Rubber Seal Stamps....They have a lot of great stamps and she is very nice.....I colored my image with copic markers and prisma pencils with OMS....Added a few flowers with some crystal affects and I was done....

I hope everyone had a great weekend...It sure went quickly though....Have a great week...
For today's card I used an old Precious Moments stamp and I played with some green flower soft for the grass...I really love that stuff...Have you played with it...I had thought it was heavy and thick and hadn't heard good things about it...Well let me tell you that's not the case and I really love that stuff and it's so fun to play with, although it's just as bad as glitter and gets everywhere.....lol
I used SU cardstock, PaperTrey to stamp my image on and Copic Markers to color....The Easter Eggs are I'm not sure what brand paper.....Sizzix Flourish die, labels spellbinders die....Prima flower and the ribbon is a no name brand I got at a local craft fair....I think that's everything...If I missed something or you have a question please let me know....Have a great day....

A Little Scrapbooking

TGIF...I love Friday it's always nice to look forward to the weekend and spending quality time with the family...Today is the last day of school for the boys and they start their two week spring break...We are taking vacation to Kauai next week for seven days...Yippee...We are so excited...

Today's project is a little wall hanging that I made for our friends Devon & Shelia....This was at our house for our New Years Party....The photo is of Vernon (my hubby), myself and Devon....Unfortunately Shelia had a little to much to drink and was not in the picture....But we all had a great time....

Back to the project....I used my BIA to cut two pieces of 4X6 black Chipboard which I just tied ribbons to bind it together....I painted the black Chipboard with a little silver paint....I then cut one black and one pattern paper with the spellbinders die and embossed the black one and brushed it with silver paint....I somehow got paint on the photo so I just sponged paint around the edges to make it look like I had meant to do it....lol....I printed the info on a piece of vellum and added a velvet flower with brad....OMG those flowers smell so bad....

I cut the flourish with a sizzix die and added some bling to make it pop....I used some making memories black clips to hang it and added some glitter silver brads on top of the silver ribbon....It was a really simple little project that I think they will enjoy....I really love this photo of the three of us....We will truly miss our dear friends when they move....Being a military family we experience friends coming in and out of our lives and there are very few that actually will be lifelong friends....Devon & Shelia have become friends that we will have in our lives for many many years....I hope you have a great weekend and like the project that I have made...We are having dinner with them tonight so I will give them their gifts so I will let you know what they think....Have a great weekend and I hope you enjoy the project I made...Happy Stamping....

A Friendly Challenge

My friend Kellie challenged Camille and I to make a card with the circle background image from Magnolia....So this is what I came up with and it's my first Easter card so far....

I put this together super fast...But Camille beat us all she was done first...Both images are from Magnolia the paper is super old from I have no idea where and prima flowers with robins nest in the center....I cut out the background image and put it on the sizzix scallop circle...Simple right?Do you ever think that your project has to much dimension....It seemed like this did but I didn't use my usual SU stampin dimensionals I used some other ones I had and they just seem to high....I don't know.....Have a great day and thanks for stopping by....

BLOG CANDY UPDATE.....Check back this afternoon for the winning name....They boys will draw a name after they get home from school....Good Luck to everyone....
For today's card I went super simple....It's for our friend Devon who just graduated from OCS and is changing paths in his career and as happy as we are for Devon & Shelia we are also sad because this means they are moving soon to a new duty station....We will miss them so much...So I have been putting together a CD with all the pictures we have taken together over the last few years, a wall hanging with a great picture from New Years and some other goodies for them to take and remember the great times we have shared since being here in Hawaii.....I will be posting those photos over the next few days so you can see what I have been up too....LOL...Back to the card I always find it a little harder to make a card for men and this was just to simple and I was happy....I used all Stampin Up! stamps and paper and added a few prima flowers and it was done....I love that it was so simple and came together so easy.....Always a good thing right....Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping as always....Love Love

First let me say Thank You for all of your great comments I'm so happy to read them all....Thanks so much.....I take my pictures outside when I can and place them on a white towel to give a clean background....Since I live in Hawaii I don't have to worry so much about the weather however I seem to do most of my work at night and it's then that my pictures ALWAYS come out looking like junk....So I really wanted to know what everyone else does....I'm not super computer savvy cause I just don't take the time to spend on the computer to figure it out....I much rather be in my craft room....Speaking of Craft room I have been spending my last few days moving furniture around, cleaning, organizing, and finding all kinds of stuff in there....I'm really liking the new set up much better now I just want to finish so I can get back to work....lol....

So I have a quick post for today which is the cards below....I made two of them but on doesn't have a sentiment on it yet....thought I might wait until I'm ready to send it to someone to figure out what it needs to say....I had the most fun with this card....If you have any questions about the supplies or techniques I used please let me know....I'm always more than happy to share....
I used basic grey papers for this project and Postbox Sugar Nellie, I added some rub-ons and chipboard flowers that I covered with paper to match....I also paper pieced her pants and the mailbox....
I added some bling to the scallop circle which is a sizzix die and I put bling on the flower lace which is Making Memories from long ago....I think....lol

This is the second card that I made from the same image and papers and I changed a little with it but basically the same....Well I hope you enjoy my project and thanks for stopping by....Can't wait to hear what you think....Have a great weekend!

A lot of people say they have such a hard time getting a good picture of something they made....I am not that great at it myself....I usually take my pictures outside in the daylight to get the best results.....I would love to hear what you use....

I have covered the frappuccino box with fancy pants designs pattern paper and added lace trim around the whole box....Then I decorated each side with a few fun images and a few of my favorite stamps...
I used Heidi Swapp large flowers to wrap on two of the four sides.....On the left is LiLi (inky Impressions), Brick Wall (Magnolia), Sun (alota rubber stamps)....I played with the shamrock green flower soft for the bottom....OMG I just love this stuff, it so cool....On the right is Angelica (inky impressions) sitting on a chair (Magnolia) I cut out the flourish pieces with sizzlet dies....

These are just such beautiful words and I wanted to share them with you....On the left is a stamp from Wordsworth, its called The Women Who and I just love it....On the right is from DRS Designs....I have always loved this prayer....

I want to first say that I'm so sorry that I haven't posted until now and there are no pictures of the yummy candy I have up for grabs....I have hand made a really special project and I've used the few of the new images from Inky Impressions new line coming out soon....Nicole from Inky Impressions has been very generous and offered a $10.00 gift certificate for her web store....I have also added some fun odds and ends that I hope you will enjoy....I took photos of my project and stash to post but they didn't come out very good so I was going back and forth about should I post them or wait until tomorrow and take pictures with better light....Then thought I said I would do it today so I went to do it.....Can you believe I couldn't find my cable to connect my camera....I have spend the last few hours looking for it and have no idea where it's at....I used it just a few days ago so it has to be here....I have been busy with many projects in my craft room so it's a mess in there....I think it has to be in there somewhere...I will start there first thing in the morning.....Sorry but trust me it will be worth the wait....lol....Hope to see you back soon....

My friend Kellie made this card for me and she used the cutest pink & brown papers....She even covered a mailbox for Valentine's Day....What a lucky girl I was.... Whiff Of Joy DT Sketch

I never apply for these DT calls that we see all the time cause I guess I don't really know if I'm at that level to do something like that but I love doing the challenges and Sketches....Actually I have always loved to use sketches which started back when I started scrapbooking.....I have used several of the sketches Katharina has on her blog and have also bought many of her WOJ images....A friend suggested that we do this sketch and use our new WOJ kit stamps (which I hadn't used yet) and so this is what I came up with...I just love this image of Kneeling Willow she is so cute....

All of the stamps are Whiff Of Joy, paper is Fancy Pants (old stuff), flowers are prima, punches MS and SU, Ink momento and colored with copic and prisma pencils....I think that's everything I used...lol...I hope you enjoy my card I really enjoyed making it and when it all came together....Hope you have a great day....Happy Stamping and thanks for stopping by....

I made this card for Valentine's Day for my DH but of course I didn't get it done in time so he received a different Magnolia card...lol...I took a little more time on this Love Card I made the pin with some glass beads and pearls, tied some ribbon through a button and added it to the tag which I cut with my sizzix die....I had to cut the Dollie so it would fit and then I stitched around the edges of the card....I really do love this card and the colors were just perfect....I used chatterbox papers that I found at price busters....The card size is 4X8

My stamping buddies came over and we exchanged Valentine goodies and this was one of the items I gave to them....I made the pins, tags and added rub-ons to the bags with everyones name....I really love how they came out and both Kellie and Camille were happy with them....Well thanks for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed my creations....Would love to hear what you think....Happy stamping....love love

A Few Valentine's Cards!

So I know that I'm a little late with these Valentine's Cards but now that things have settled down I can post them....We had a great Valentine's Day my wonderful husband cooked a wonderful breakfast and dinner for me....He even did the shopping and planning of the meal which I guess was the hardest part....LOL....He also printed out a menu for me....Very sweet he was and I got some new PJ's it was a very nice day....So let me tell you about the cards I made....

For this card used some old BG paper which I still love....I used quickutz for the photo corners and the "Be Mine"....I used the Cuddly Buddly circle sentiments....Also I used the Fiskars circle punch, some chipboard for the hearts and some SU ribbon....And of course the image is Magnolia and the notebook paper is also from Magnolia...I think I listed everything if I forgot something and you have questions just let me know....This card was a 6X6 size which is a little bigger than I like to work with but I had to much to put on there so had to be a big one....

What a simple card this was....I used the Sizzix scallop heart die, did a little paper piercing and added a simple I heart U stamp for my sentiment....Of course the image is Magnolia again...LOLThis was a card that already had the hearts cut out and it was kind of like a watercolor type of paper....My friend Camille gave me these cards which I had not done anything with so I had a try at it....I used the labels die, Magnolia heart and Tilda by Magnolia.....Really easy card....Again...LOL

Well I hope that you like the Valentine's Day cards I have been making and sorry that I didn't get them posted sooner....I do have one more Valentines card, which really is my favorite so I will post that one tomorrow....I hope you have enjoyed my creations and would love to hear what you think....Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping....love love

This is another card I put together with Nicole's image of Angelica from Inky Impressions.....She was a fast and easy card but she was really just perfect for Valentine's Day huh....I think the card (6X6) was a little to big should have gone with a smaller size....I used some more old SU! paper that I have had for to long and I cute the hearts with the quickutz heart cookie cutter dies....pretty simple yea....Well I hope that everyone has a happy Valentine's Day!

For this card I again used Tilda with tag and an old SU be mine sentiment, the pattern paper is also old SU paper....I was happy that I was able to find a few flowers that matched just perfect...I used the lace fiskars circle punch to make the circle she is sitting in....I think she came out perfectly....I have had a hard time trying to use up this paper which I think is strange cause I just love the colors....I don't know what my problem is but what do you do....lol....Hope you enjoy the card and thanks for stopping by....love love

A Few Valentine Cards!

For today's card I used two Magnolia Stamps (Tilda w/ Tag & Post Feb 14Th) and I just love them both....I also used stampingbella mwah kisses stamp for the tag and the chocolate box from alota rubber stamps (Thanks Camille for this great stamp I just love it)....I used copic markers to color the images along with koh-i-noor pencils and OMS...I used both white and red lace which just seemed to finish off my card perfectly....

Oh do I really love Edwin more....I think not as much as I love Tilda but that stamp from SU seemed to fit just perfect with this card....I colored and inked Edwin and cut him out.....I used the Valentine Sizzix flourish die and the word window punch....I stitched around the edge of my card after I had embossed it with the CB Swiss dots....I think this will be a Valentine card for one of my boys....Not sure which one yet....lol....Well I have a few more in the works right now that I hope to wrap up tomorrow....Hope you enjoyed my cards and let me know if you have any questions....Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping as always....love love

Mojo Monday Sketch Week 70

Here we have it....This is Angelica from Nicole over at Inky Impressions and I followed a Mojo Monday Sketch which turns out to be from a few weeks ago but oh well....She came out really cute I think....How fun was it to use the swing....I love the way she came out....The coloring isn't my favorite but the colors of this paper didn't make it as easy as I would have liked....I used my sewing machine to stitch my card....I think that adding stitching really adds so much to the projects....well I'm off to work on some more projects....Need to get some Valentines Day cards made....Fun Fun I have to say....

Introducing LiLi....

How cute is this new stamp.....I just love her....look at those eyes....My friend Nicole is starting her own line called inky impressions go on over and check out her blog.....We don't have a release day just yet but should be (fingers crossed) by the end of the month or latest beginning of next.....I hope that you fall in love with her images as I have....I really love coloring them....how cute is she....there is also another image that she has named Angelica....Her stamps were inspiration that came from her two daughters......I'm very inspired by these new images and they are so fun to color which I just love.....I also get to be part of her DT which is super exciting news for me....Yippee....so there will be more information to come about that in the next few weeks....I have a few other images I need to photograph so I can upload to share.....Things have been busy around here I have to say.....I cant wait to hear what you think of the new stamps....Let me know....Thanks for stopping by....love love

Cherry Tilda Card & Candle

I just love this Cherry Tilda she is so cute....I have had the hardest time finding cherry papers so I had to make my own....I just stamped the Cherries on white cardstock and colored them in with copic markers and added come crystal glaze....It worked out perfectly.....She is too cute...

I made this candle for my girlfriend Camille for her Birthday in September....It came out so nice but I had forgotten to take pictures of it before I gave it to her....So it took awhile before she brought it back for me to photograph....It really is such an easy project to make a candle.....When I first learned how to do this several years ago I must have made like twenty....It's so fun when you learn how to do something new....

A Few Birthday Cards

This is a card that I made for Tanja her birthday was in December and I had a package to mail to her well lets just say that by the time I mailed the package there was a birthday card, Christmas Card, Christmas gift and New Years card all added to her box....How funny is that...Anyhow this card was made out of some old scraps of paper that I had left over from a Scrapbook Page I did a long time ago....I loved it and I think so did Tanja....

This card was a birthday card I made for my friend Shawntell....This is my very first colored Tilda....My girlfriend has been giving me a hard time that all my girls are white....As Tiff says you need to give those girls some color....So here is what I got....not to bad but as you can tell I still need to work on doing this....Maybe my next one will be better....Thanks for stopping by....Love Love

Happy New Year Cards

See I have been working on my crafts.....I made several of these little simple Happy New Year Cards using Tilda and the winter kit....I also used some different colors for my paper that I usually don't use....I must say that I really did love the way it all came together....

These are all the same for the most part just a different Tilda and colored a little different....I also embossed the Happy New Year sentiment using Versafine back ink and clear embossing powder....It sure make it look so nice I love this elegant kind of look.....

I made this one first and I like it but I guess I really like the simple ones that I made from the scraps of this card....I really need to pull out my sewing machine more....it sure gives the cards such a nice finished look huh....Well I'm going back to work on editing more cards so I can post them....Have a wonderful day and happy stamping.....

Happy New Year!

Well I know I'm a little late with this but Happy New Year & I wish you all the best, much love and happiness in 2009...I have been away from my blog for over a month more like two....can you believe that....I know sometimes I get a little behind with my blog but hello this is crazy, nearly two months....My life has been so crazy busy lately....My DH took three weeks off from work and the boys have had a little over three weeks off....They return to school and the DH goes back to work and I get my house back....LOL...Yippee....I'm way to excited for that let me tell you....Uninterrupted crafty time....Loving that great idea....and then my brother called and I got some sad and unexpected news that my dad had passed away after many years of living disabled with a brain injury (since I was six years old....26 years) wow....So I went to Iowa I was so so freezing my butt off....Do you know how cold it was in Iowa....Been living in California for 6 years....Oh that didn't work for me....I got to see my brother and nephew and meet his new wife...See many of my aunts and cousins that I haven't seen in at least twenty years....wow...So that is what has been crazy in my life...I have really found myself just being in my craft room and it feel better and I'm getting so much done....It's so therapeutic for me to create....Should try mopping....yea right....lol...to much work....
So I haven't posted since early December which means I have all my Christmas Cards, New Years Cards, Misc. cards and Valentines Day so I guess I will just start posting them to my blog....Cant wait to hear what you think....

I came across these Mustard Moon Papers that I have had since I worked at the scrap store and have not done anything with them yet....Well they seemed the perfect colors to make fall and Thanksgiving cards with....Then I found the perfect match of colors with my copic markers....I do love when this happens.....so here are a few of the cards I came up with....

A Few Sugar Nellie Cards!

I purchased this stamp from funky kits but never used her for a card so it was time....I did find out what a fast easy image she was to color....The card was easily put together....I used a MS border punch, old SU simply scrappin kit, colored her with copic markers, used some trim I bought at wal-mart for 25 cents a yard, the circle stamp is Catslife Press and cut out my friend with my quickutz....My crafty friend Camille is always giving me great stuff....Every time she comes over there is something new she has brought....I'm so lucky to have her in my life....so I made this little simple thank you card for her and she loved it as much as I did....

This is one of my favorite Sugar Nellie images.....She is so sweet....I made this birthday card for my friend Jenny that just turned 32.....We have been friends since high school which means we have been friends for nearly twenty years....where has the time gone....Being in the military is hard sometimes because I don't get to be around my friends and don't get to celebrate special days with them....But this year was different....I was able to go home for a week and spend her birthday with her....What a great husband I have....He stayed home with the kids and took them to their football games (we had snacks for one) and he even had a BBQ that we were invited too which he had to make a dish....I love when he has to be the mom even if it doesn't happen very often....He does pretty good....Thanks honey I love you....

About the card I used the sugar nellie image, WOJ sentiment, Making memories paper that I die cut with my sizzix file folder die, copic markers, and some white ribbon.....Very simple yet again I seem to get a lot done this way....Hope you enjoy my card and thanks for stopping by.....

Finally back from California and settled in....I had so much fun while I was in California oh and I ate way to much so now I'm trying to be good to make up for it....I sure do miss real Mexican food that I grew up eating in California....Hawaii is awesome but Mexican food here is just not right....I guess there's no place like home....ha ha....I went shopping at Michael's, Jo Ann's and Bed Bath & Beyond.....Oh I had so much fun and things are so inexpensive on the mainland compared to here n Hawaii....I picked up several new MS border punches for my girlfriend and I....We can't even find some of this stuff here in Hawaii....So enough about all that....I have been busy making cards and coloring images....Oh I do love this hobby....I made this thank you card for a friend and now I want to make a few more....She came out so cute....I just love this one

She is my very favorite new Tilda...How cute is her coat....I can't color her enough....I have not posted but I have been making lots of stuff....I will get some pictures taken today so I can post to my blog again....I have missed you and hope you enjoy my card.....I sent it off to a friend....Thanks for stopping by love love

So I have been MIA once again and gosh things are crazy around here....We have company in town which leave today and I'm leaving for California on Thursday.....On top of that I'm still trying to recover from Dominick's Birthday and Halloween....Although I'm sure a little retail therapy while in California will make up for all the craziness.....I cant wait to hit all the great craft stores, ikea, Target, oh and this isn't even including the food....Oh real Mexican food....I'm getting myself hungry already....ha ha....So back to the card....This is one of my very new Tilda images and she is just so cute....I have had this pattern paper for a long time and so I pulled it out and found that coloring Tilda to match wasn't hard at all....What a simple card huh....I was going to add some stitching but I have purple in the machine right now and I was just to tired last night by the time I finished this card I went to bed....I have a few more that should be coming soon....Have a great day and thanks for stopping by....Love Love

I made this card after seeing a card on Claudia's blog I changed it a little and used a different Tilda but I wondered if it was alright to copy her card....I have been going back and forth weather should post the card or not....I made this card a few weeks ago and I emailed her to ask her permission but I never heard back from her which I'm sure she is a very busy lady....So I hope that I have not broken a rule or offended anyone that surely is not be my intention at all....Actually I admire her work so much....She is very talented....As if I could be that good right....Anyhow I wanted to share cause I just loved the way this card came out....This is the only Christmas Tilda I have so far.....I used my copic markers to color her, some vintage lace and I think the paper is Creative Imagination but I'm not sure since it was given to me by my friend Camille and bazzil cardstock....The card really is very simple but just adding a little stitching sure does make such a difference....Hope you like.....Thanks for stopping by....Love Love

So Willow with hot chocolate is one of my very favorites I have to say....She is fun to color and I have to say it must be coffee and not hot chocolate but then again I need lots and lots of caffeine to stay active...lol....These are Whiff Of Joy Stamps ......I just love her line of stamps....Although I do find living in Hawaii that I generally have an issue purchasing any type of stamps that include snow I'm just not drawn to that type of image....I don't why that is....If you have haven't been on her site go check it out....Awesome stuff and her blog is amazing....I have been a busy bee working on Halloween favors and trying to get all the fun goodies done....Only a few more days....Imagine....I love Halloween....Our friends celebrate their anniversary on Halloween....I need to get their card out today also....Lucky for me they live on a neighbor island so only takes two days....alright enough with my ramblings huh....So here is the details of the card...

A Spoon Full of Sugar

I made this card for A Spoon Full of Sugar sketch from last week I finished this card last week but I didn't get it posted so I thought today would be a good day for that....I love this old Basic Grey paper I think it's called lilykate but I really haven't done much with this little six by six pad so I pulled it out....I have been on a purple kick lately which is so fun cause that used to be my favorite color years ago but I have moved on to Pink & Brown....Today I need to finish up all the Halloween stuff for the boys class and get ready for Dominick's birthday......My baby is turning eleven....When did this happen and why....Oh so sad....His dad is flying in tomorrow for a week an I love seeing my son so super excited....He saw him last in January at grandma's house.....So it should be a busy weekend....Birthday, Halloween, football game, beach time and hiking....I think my boy will be pretty tired when it's all said and done....So enough with the personal info...Back to the card.....

I used a white card base and stitched the pattern paper to it....I cute a strip of blue paper and used MS border punch colored my image and added a few flowers....I just love simple fast cards....That makes me so happy....

Standing Fall Tilda

Isn't she so cute....I love this image....Well I guess every Tilda I love but she's a new one so I guess I just love her more right now I guess....Oh and of course I love this Martha Stewart Punch....It's just adds such a nice touch I think....I have been coloring with my new color Koh-I-Noor pencils and Gamsol and I'm just loving the results....How easy the colors blend....I just love the way it comes out.....As you may notice I have used my super old 2004 pattern paper from SU! can you believe I still have some...I have plans to finish up so projects today and try to post everyday this week....We will have to see how that goes.....

O.K. I'm back after being MIA for so long...I do this a whole lot....Pretty often huh...Well I have been making lots of stuff....Camille came over last week and we made these cutest Happy Halloween cards, A WOJ card, A coaster box, and a few other things we have been working on....I just love them all...We get so much done together...She is awesome....Love You...So I have a question....Is Halloween also considered to be Fall or are they two separate things.....I would say that they are kind of one in the same...You know same time, same type of colors, etc....I'm just curious what you think....Please leave a comment I'm interested to know....O.K. enough with that....So this card was fun to make and I was so happy with the way it came out...

Not much going on today....Our new baby has been a little sick throwing up and runny you know what....So last night I was up with her and his morning she was just laying there not moving which really scared me....She truly has become my baby and I love her so much....So anyhow I had to wait until eight and then take her to the vet which she doesn't like being in her carrier so she cried all the way there....And made herself so upset that she made you know what all over the inside, top, bottom and sides of her carrier....So I had a sick baby all day....It has been awhile since I've had a baby ya know....But she is feeling better and starting to act like her cute playful self again and we are so happy for that.....

So about the cards I have one almost done it needs a few finishing touches but I might get it on here tonight or in the morning....I have been doing a lot of sewing on my cards and I'm just loving it....I have had a few people ask about the sewing machine that I use so I wanted to share that info....I have Janome Petite which is a mini sewing machine that does like eight different stitches and it was like $99.99 so very reasonable....I got mine at the scrapbook store I worked at but I want to say that I saw one at wal-mart....I will get back with more information next time I go to wal-mart....Well I need to get back to coloring so I can post....Thanks for stopping by....

I'm super excited about this Tilda Halloween card....It's my first and my friend Tanja was so sweet to to sent me this image.....Isn't she too cute....SO I put this together yesterday....I had so much fun....I pulled out my little sewing machine and stitched the edges, used CB embossing folder to make the black spider web, Magnolia Tilda image, I used some black embroidery floss to lace up her books, and the ghost and tombstone are buttons, the ribbon I got from a local scrapbook store and that's about it....The coloring and cutting of the image was probably the hardest part of the card but so worth it.....I was so excited to have this card finished....So what do you think....

High Hopes Blog Candy going on over at Bunny-Zoe blog.....it's for two cute cute stamps....I really loved these images and the boys would love them to....Trust me they don't get that excited about stamps but these I think they would love.....So today is the last day so check it out....

This is a Sugar Nellie image that my friend Camille got which I love so when she came over last week I thought it would be a perfect image to color and make a card with....I pulled out this super old Making Memories pattern paper that I have had forever so that was good.....I always feel so good when I used up something or well anything that I have had for way to long...So we colored the image with copic markers, cut some flourish pieces with Quickutz die, used some lace, prima flowers and the stamp "I'd rather be stamping is from amuse....Not a hard card and it came together super easy and fast.....Well I have another Halloween card I'm almost done with so let me get that finished so I can post it....Have not done any stamping today cause my dear sweet husband took me on a date to lunch and the movies....It was so nice I honestly cant remember the last time we did that....Thanks for stopping by....Love Love

So this is my first Halloween card of the year....I guess you could say I'm kind of behind....I love Halloween it's one of my favorite holidays.....So happy Halloween from our web to yours....Isn't that to cute....We like having Halloween parties and everything Halloween....I will have to share last years invitations.....But for now this is a card I made using my new stamp from Whipper Snapper which I got last week at cute stuff.....I used some old SU pattern paper which I stitched to the orange card stock and the spiders are from Martha Stewart, RIP stamp is amuse and Happy Halloween stamp is from one of those clear dollar stamp sets they have but I don't recall who makes it...I inked everything with black ink and colored my image with copic markers....I hope you like what I came up with....Have a great weekend and I will be back soon....Thanks for stopping by....

I have been so busy lately and I'm so so ready for my boys to go back to school....I enjoy them but a whole week has been rough....And the new baby has been keeping me pretty busy....She is so fun and I'm so enjoying having a baby in the house....I got a new bag to carry her in and a cute pattern to make her some clothing....I will share when I have made something....So about the card....A fairly easy card I used SU! chocolate chip card stock, SEI paper, Making Memories woven label, Heidi Swapp brads, CB embossing folder (Swiss dots), and Prima Flowers that I rubbed clear stickles on for the glitter affect....Of course a Magnolia stamp cross stitch & copic markers.....I thought she came out cute but one of my friends said she didnt like it....I don't know....Well I have one more card to post so let me go.....Thanks for stopping by....

Our New Baby!

Isn't she the cutest thing you have ever seen.....I'm so in love....It's a girl.....I have waited my whole life for another girl to be in the house.....So let me tell you about her....Her name is Bella what can I say this is what the boys agreed to....Angela (Dominick) or Bell (Jared) and of course dad say how about dog so I said what about Bella and that was the end of it....She is half Chihuahua and half Brussel Griffen....She is chocolate Brown (which goes so well with pink).....She will be about 8 to 10 pounds when she is fully grown....She is such a cuddling baby....It's just like having a brand new baby in the house......She eats, sleeps, goes bathroom and plays and then does it all over again....So I haven't been spending much time stamping as I have been attending to the new baby.....We are all so excited about the new addition to the family and I wanted to share.....Happy stamping and thanks for stopping by....

October Card Mingle

I made this card for Chris from Canada....I received an email from her yesterday that she had happy mail so I can finally post it.....For the October Card Mingle our theme was school....I put this together fairly fast because the girls were still here and I hadn't had much time in my craft room.....I used SU cardstock, copic markers, Magnolia stamp, the crayon is from a MSE stamp set, Twill is from LSS and the bus button was from Ben Franklin.....Pretty easy huh....I have really enjoyed doing these card mingles (thank you Susan for putting that together for us)....I of course love getting them also.....I received my card from Lisa this time....I need to take a picture and post it....I should put that on my list of things to do....Well I need to get to stamping I have some things I need to get mailed out this weekend.....Hope that everyone has a great weekend....Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping....

We were so lucky to have the girls come and stay with us for two weeks....The have grown up into young women (which sure makes us feel old) and such great girls....It makes me miss living on the mainland.....We don't get to see them so much although they have come to visit often....I'm not sure if it's to see us or to visit Hawaii.....Maybe both....I had to get a few shots of them all together and as I was editing them this one was just my favorite.....The girls are Vernon's sisters daughters and even Vernon is shocked at how grown up they are.....Well I just wanted to share this quick picture of the the kids together....Happy Friday!!!

Well hello how's it going.....I have been MIA yet again....Busy busy I tell you....We have done more in the last few weeks than I think we did all Summer....Our nieces from Monterey California were here for a little over two weeks.....They are 17 and 19 and girls....I just love them.....We went snorkeling, to the USS Arizona memorial, Luau, The Beach, North Shore & The Dole Plantation and out shopping at several malls.....And on top of all that My husband and I attended the Khaki Ball.....The girls also made a few craft projects which was of course fun.....But I didn't seem to get much of my stuff done.....I was late mailing out my Card Mingle for this month so sorry Chris I hope you like it and it doesn't take to long to arrive in Canada.....But I have managed to get a few cards made....I also have Halloween spread all over my table.......We love Halloween and our oldest son's birthday is October 30Th so we love having Halloween Party for both the kids and the adults....What fun we have so I need to get those invitations started.....Well enough about what I have been up to and on to the card.....Edwin is so easy to make and color and for some reason I seem to think that primary colors look great with him...I used some scraps of paper from other projects and a few flowers which are from the craft store for making arrangements I just cut them apart, the simple sentiment is a StampinUp! I have a blogger friend that sent me something and I wanted to make a cute thank you card to let her know how thoughtful I think she was to do that....I used some older Chatterbox patterned paper, CB embossing folder, SU scallop punch & circle punches, Stamps are Maganolia and Cuddlybuddly, white gel pen....I made the front popped up with pop-dots to make a pocket that has a pull-out card that I will write my personal thank you note on....I just loved this little card and the colors.....I hope that she likes it.....I will have to let you know....Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping....Love Love

Taking The Bike Out

Things sure have been busy here....The girls are here and we are loving it so much....Even the boys are enjoying it.....Although I'm not sure they would admit it....This is a picture of my husband Vernon and our niece Rebekah going for a ride on the bike.....It worked out well because she can fit my jacket and helmet.....I know your surprised that it's pink but of course when I saw it I knew that was the one I wanted.....They went our for awhile and I was able to get a few shots of them....Now Melissa wasn't so ready to get on the bike with her Uncle I think she might be a little scared.....Maybe next time....I have been very busy with the boys school work, football practice and our visitors but I have been able to get a few cards made....I will post them next.....Have a great night....Thanks for stopping by...

A Little Thanks Card

Hope that everyone has had a great weekend and gotten lots of stamping done.....I however have not been stamping.....Well a little....I had to put together a little mini book for my friend Tiff's daughter she had a party today for her 15th birthday so I wanted to make something for her to put her pictures in.....It was a quick 6X6 album.....It came together really quickly....Well Rebekah and Melissa helped....I so love having the come to visit....Thanks girls.....Still no stamped images of my new magnolia fall kit stamps....Maybe tomorrow.....Oh yea I actually won something.....Imagine that.....I won a new red ATG gun.....Which is a expensive item which I also love.....However I have two already the 1/2 & 1/4 but my gun is no longer red.....Of course nothing else but Pink & Brown.....So now I'm not sure exactly what to do with it.....It was really fun to win something though.....O.K. back to the card.......Super Super simple....I embossed the card base with CB embossing folder, added the black ric-rac, cut the scallop circle and circle, cut the bookplate from a sizzix die, stamped Tilda and sentiment, Oh and I cut out thanks with quickutz alphabet.....Hope you enjoy and as always......Happy Stamping and thanks for stopping by...

This is my September Mingle Card which was a Flower Mingle.....I didn't post it to my blog because I wanted to send it out before I posted so it would be a surprise....I never heard from my partner but it's a been a few weeks so I sure home she received it by now.....As I look at Tilda right now I want to go color.....I have been so busy with the girls in town and try to get projects done which isn't always the easiest thing to do.....I received my Fall Kit yesterday after we got back from Snorkeling and was so excited.....Yet so tired.....I got them cut and ready to stamp but that is about all I have done.....I know I need to get to work.....I am I am....Well I need to run down to the art supply store that I buy my copic markers from because can you believe that I won.....I never win in drawings but I did....Wonder what it could be....Hummm....I will have to let you know.......Well have a great Saturday and happy stamping......

So I think it's time that I put up some Blog Candy.....Since I have never done this before I thought it would be kind of cool to ask you guys what you think....Should there be a challenge....
For Example

A New Card!

I'm back and with a new card....Well I have a few I need to get uploaded....I'm finally getting over this sinus infection....Thanks to all of you who wished me better.....Our yard sale went really well...Actually really shocking....We made $240.00 which wasn't to bad for a bunch of junk....Of course none of the boys in my house wanted to help clean out closets and find old stuff we no longer use but on Saturday morning of course Dominick and Vernon were there so willing to help and then wanted a cut of the money.....I tell you....I told them all proceeds were stamping funds and they laughed at me.....We are so excited that our nieces are coming to visit for a few weeks on Tuesday....The girls have grown up into beautiful young women....How did that happen....It will be so fun cause they both enjoy stamping and scrapbooking so we will have many girl nights....I just love that about them......O.K. so enough about all of that....

Well first Thank God It's Friday!!!!
I have been trying to get over this sinus infection this week and on top of that my girlfriend across the street is having a yard sale so she talked me into doing it with her......Of course I have plenty of stuff that I no longer need......Why is it that I feel the need to hold on to everything.....i will never know....So this has been my chance to "clean out the closets" which were in desperate need......So I am letting go....Yea....Anyways that is why I have not been around.....Of course I still have been able to find a little time to craft.....But still have been unable to take pictures and that whole process so maybe this weekend I will get some stuff done.......Oh yea I got my new Sugar Nellie stamps and I just love them.....Can't wait to get some of them uploaded....Well back to this card.......I made this card for my girlfriends birthday.....I just love this Tilda she is to sassy and cute......She is also another favorite of mine........Well maybe they all are........Enjoy and have a great weekend.......Happy Stamping....

As you can see I am still using up this SU pattern paper.....So last week I was at Ben Franklin and they are discontinuing the fabric and all the trim and lace so it was 50% off of the already marked down price.....And for the entire roll not per yard....So of course I had to buy plenty or should I say all....Also they had put the Maya Roads metal tins (perfect for a mini album) with chipboard flowers on clearance so they came out to be like $2.00 so of course I had to also pick up a few of those....So back to the card....The flower is chipboard covered with pattern paper, a circle punch with the sentiment, CB flower and prima flower all nested together.....I used one of my favorite Tilda stamps and finally put some ink on my cutest shabby chic fence which I just love and now want to make more cards with it......Mostly the card was using up the scraps of paper from my previous cards....I colored with copic markers.....I just love this stamps she is so cute.....Well I guess that is about it for this card....Enjoy and thanks for stopping by....Have a great day!

I found Trina's Timeless Treasures blog and she has a wonderful sketch up to win some blog candy.....I liked the sketch and her card that she made so I thought I would give it a try....This is what I came up with....For this card I used SU pattern paper and cardstock, Sugar Nellie Stamp, Making Memories fabric label, copic markers, prima flowers, CB embossing folder and a few small buttons.....This was a fairly easy card......Not to much to putting it together....I am really enjoying doing these sketches it sure seems to just make the card some together so much faster even if I change the sketch a little to work better for me....Enjoy.....I love you hear your thoughts and comments about my cards.....Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping....Love Love

Adorable Sweet Precious Moments

Sorry I have been away for awhile.....I have a sinus infection which is never a good thing....So my head has surly been hurting.....So I thought I would post a few cards that I have been doing....Precious Moments.....I have always loved Precious Moments and I was lucky enough to have been given several really cute images from my friend.....Although I hate to admit that I have not yet stamped them all but I do just love them......This image isn't my stamp but when I went to Kellie's I stamped a few....As always I wanted to come home and color which I did....But after coloring the stand did I realize what color am I going to color the dog....Well I colored before I made the card so not exactly happy with the result but was able to use up a small card I had originally made for somehting else but never used....I used my SU oval punches, small prima flowers and SU cardstock....Pretty simple I will say....I need to color more of these images.....Hope you all have a nice weekend and happy stamping....

My stamping Buddie Camille came over on Friday and she had new stamps that I stamped and then I had to order a few for myself.....Oh I cant wait till they get here....Just love coloring these images....Well the story behind this card is actually kind of funny....I had the card base made since a long time ago....but that was as far as it got....So I used that as the base and I added a few stamp images of a small grass stamp that made it go off the page and then I colored with my copic markers and that was about it......It was done........And I so love these images....Did I already say that....Well I need to get back to my craft room and finish up a few other things....I hope you enjoy this card I sure did.....Thanks Camille......Thanks for stopping by....

Aloha Magnolia Sketch Challenge

Thank you Claudia for this great sketch challenge and for making such great magnolia cards.....You are such an inspiration....I used the hula Tilda and tree since I do live in Hawaii and I have yet to make a card with her....I colored her with copic markers and the copic glitter pens which make the tree and her lei stand out....I used Blossom alpha from quickutz to cut the word aloha....The card size is 5 1/2 by 5 1/2....I should have made it a little larger I think...
I don't think you can really see the glitter pen show up it was after 5P.M. when I took my pictures and the lighting wasn't all that great....Also this is the first Magnolia card that I didn't cut off the wings.....I have such a hard time getting them to look like all the other ladies do...
I used SU dimensional pop dots to pop up Tilda but again I don't think you can see that to well....I would love to hear what you think.....Thanks for stopping by....Happy Stamping....

Tilda With Broom

Magnolia Card Mingle

Our magnolia group did an August Card Mingle....So we signed up to send a card and then Susan assigned us with our partners and I was lucky enough to send to a gal here in Hawaii...How awesome is that.....And possibly for the very first time in my life I actually got it mailed out on time....I wasn't late....I know hard to believe huh....So I used Tilda with vine and basket and CB embossing folder, SU ribbon, hardware & cardstock...I had a lot of fun making this card and yet again I didn't want to give it away....Why is it that sometimes I want to keep my cards for myself
For the inside of the card I used my Fancy Pants clear stamps and stamped the lined flower image in brown on cream cardstock and the used my blender pen to pick up some ink from my ink pad to add some color to the flowers....I also stamped Summer on the paper before I wrote her a little note.....She told me how much she enjoyed the card and that makes me feel so good...I love for others to get happy mail....Well thanks so much for stopping by and happy stamping...

Jared had a birthday party this afternoon so I had to put together a card pretty fast....I love the Tilda images but with two boys I knew that I needed the Edwin images.....This one was just perfect and it matched the Basic Grey Paper.....With bright colors.....I used the SU word window and SU Happy Birthday from gosh I don't remember what that set is called.....It is one of my favorites....I have a few other cards in the works but somehow I seem to get side tracked with another idea or paper....I am trying to make some cards with the My Mind's Eye paper pack that I bought at Costco last year......That was a lot of paper and I still have most of it....So that is my current mission....I might try to post again before I go to bed tonight but we will see......Hope you had a great weekend.....Thanks for stopping by.....

I have had so much going on lately......Why is there not enough hours in the day.....My hubby just had his birthday and gosh we are getting old.....I got together with the girls on Tuesday for our little stamp morning.....We had fun as always and of course Camille made wonder gifts again....She is so good.....I only made this card which I think came out so cute.....She s one of my favorite Magnolia stamps.....I have been trying to play with the whole white gel thing and it's getting better.....I did learn one thing for sure I need to color the flower on her pants before I color the pants......I think this will help.....The thank you stamps are Heidi Swapp acrylic stamps....Haven't used in a long time.....I seem to always always be happy with my cards and they come together super easy when I use pink and brown.....I want to work on some baby blue and brown.....I sent out two packages this week with images for a few friends and I can't wait for them to get it....I didn't really work on a nice card to send them in but am trying to get a bunch of RAK cards made to send out.....Finding the time is a little hard because this is a crazy month....So many birthdays and our anniversary is the 25th....So exciting....My husband is home so that's also fun he was deployed last August.....Maybe he has something planned....Probably not (he is a man) but I can hope cause sometimes he does surprise me.....Well let me get this posted and get to bed........It's way to late for me to be up.....Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping....

Can you believe that July is over....How did that happen....Although I must admit that I am so ready for the summer to be over.....Today is the first day of school for us (Yippee) so I actually have my house back (Yippee) with both boys at school and my DH at work....I'm so going to enjoy this....I would like to thank you wonderful ladies that come and look at my blog and take the time to leave comments it is so nice to hear your feedback.....It's awesome meeting all of you talented ladies that share my passion for anything paper crafted/slightly altered and handmade.....Thanks so very much.....As you can tell I have changed my blog again....What do you think....My friend Kellie said that the black was to distracting and it takes away from my projects.......So I went with the white but it still has some color......Do you think it's still distracting.......Is a standard white background better......What do you think......I love for things to be cute so I always want to add a little something but if it doesn't look good then I would go with a plain blog layout.....O.K. enough with the chit chat.......Hope you are all having a wonderful day.....

Well I came across this stamped and colored image and figured I had better finish whatever it was I had planned on making....So it was to be a card......I think I get new stamps and then I have to ink and color them right away but then I can't find the right paper or need for the image and then it just sits there forever......Does this make any sense at all.....So I needed some thank you cards and this became one of them......Interesting right......I used the green paper (served w/ sushi) which is not recycled I bought it at the Japanese market in a package for like a dollar....I just said hula skirt to me....Why is that......I also used some old Heidi Swapp tape....Does anyone else have to much of this....If so how did that happen....I put some rub-ons on the plastic slide mount and used a few prima flowers and there you go......I have not stamped any Riley or Sophie cards lately so I enjoyed putting this together.......Enjoy and happy stamping...Kristina

My Copic Storage!

Recently a gal from one of my user groups had posted a photo of how she stored her copic markers so I thought I would take a few pictures of mine....I bought these from IKEA for $1.99 they were bare wood silverware holders to use after you wash your utensils.....Well when I saw them I didn't know what I would do with them but for $1.99 I needed to get them.....After I flew home I had the idea to paint them (pink & brown of course) and store my copic markers inside.....I also have a metal three tiered shelf on my table where I keep my prisma pencils, watercolor pencils, SU markers and then all my gel pens and blender pens, etc.....It makes it very easy to find what I'm looking for and having them all right in front of me makes it even easier.......Just thought I would share.....So how do you store your markers, pens and pencils.....Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday afternoon.......I need to finish making dinner so I can get back to coloring.......Love Love

KKMC1 Challenge

How cute did this journal come out.....I am in love....I did this for a personal need as well as for a challenge....I have never done these challenges before and this was my time to try.....I don't remember things for some strange reason so I have to write everything down with usually gets done in many different places so when I read the post on Kimmie's Blog

I knew that I had to make one and that I was up for the challenge......So pulled out my bind it all and cut some chipboard which I painted, found some pink and brown embellishments and the rest I think just made itself.....I used a bosskutz die for the tabs, nestabilites dies for the ovals, flowers are all Prima, pattern paper is all my memories I think, the buttons unknown maybe SEI and I used some Maya road rub-ons and ribbons....I made four different tabs.....Swaps, Challenges, blogs, sketches........These are all the things I forget about....I colored with both copic markers and my prisma pencils.....I just love to color these great magnolia stamps.......They are awesome and I want them all.......Well I hope you enjoy my new creation and thanks Kimmie for not only the challenge but the great idea to put together a book for myself that I will is going to be so useful.......Happy Stamping and have a great weekend.......Kristina

Lily Springtime Butterfly

I finally had the chance to stamp Lily....She is so cute....I am such a little kid......I wonder will I ever get tired of coloring.....Of course not....I bought this stamp at a local stamp store along with another one of Lily and Milo sitting on a bench.....I pulled out the sewing machine to add a finish to my card.....I was happy with it......I have been busy stamping and creating.....I have finished several projects and have some great things coming to life on my table.....I made a storage solution for my nestabilites dies, created a calendar, almost completed a notebook/ journal.....currently working on two challenges.......It's always such a great feeling to complete projects.....Oh I also stamped about thirty images times two swaps and mailed them (early~Shocking!!)......So I will be getting some fun images that I don't already have......How exciting is that......I have a stamping date with a few friends in the morning so I cant stay up to late........I guess I better get my act together....Hope you had a wonderful day and I will try to be back tomorrow.......Happy Stamping........Kristina

This is a really fast card that I made with What's Up Cupcake from MFT Stamps.....I used Versamark to stamp the flourish and then punched the circles with Marvy Punches and stamped the image, colored with Copic markers and added a little glitter.....The clear nameplate was a clearance item at Ben Franklin from who knows how long ago and I stamped it with brown stazon and the card was done......I want to make more cards with those great stamps I got but have yet to stamp.....Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Precious Moments Stamps

Precious Moments Stamps are so sweet.....I love them.....Well I have always loved Precious Moments.......I even have my own Precious Moments coloring book.....I have had it since Dominick was really little......When we would color that was my book and his was always some action hero or cars or something and the same thing happened with Jared.......I wonder were that coloring book is......I know I still have it......As if I ever get rid of anything.......My Friend Kellie had a stamp store several years ago and still had some old stamps from then and one day when I was helping her she gave me about four or fie precious moment stamps and I was so excited about it.....I will confess that I have stamped the images a few times and even colored them (that's the fun part) but never did anything with the images so here is one....What do you think.......Should have done her hair a light color and maybe not so much purple but what do you do.....

So I was just telling my friend the other day that I keep seeing buttons on every one's layouts and cards.......I said what is the deal with that.......And as we were having this discussion I decided that it had to be because we all (stampers and scrappers alike) have so many buttons......What is that all about.....I then thought of the collection I have wow.....Where did all those buttons come from and when was the last time I actually used them.....So I pulled out some purple buttons and this is what I did with them......I was to lazy and tired to put any twisties or embroidery floss through the holes so I thought I would try to use my pearl ex stuff that I have and I liked the way it came out......I also used my clear copic glitter pen on her hair bows and dress......

As you can tell I'm still trying to use up all this Making Memories paper......I do love the colors though......This was a pretty easy card and came together so quickly.....So I have a question.....Do you stamp and color your image first or do you make the card an then stamp your image.....I always wonder in what order this happens.....I think I used to color first and then find the paper to go along with my image but now I have to find the paper and somewhat put the card together and then color the image.......Tell me what you think....Happy Stamping

I love the Grillafella but I don't have that one I have the beerafella.....So I used the BBQ Grill from Hanna's Patriotic Set and then King of the Grill from Gina K designs......I also stamped a little background with an old Stampin Up Set. I really liked the way it came out.....

Well I didn't realize that I hadn't posted on my blog at all this month.....But this is the month of my Birthday (wow I'm getting old) and 4th of July and many of my friends birthdays......So our celebration started on July 2nd when the ship pulled in.....My birthday is July 6th my friend Tiff's birthday is July 5th and of course there is July 4th......So we had a party at my house on Saturday the 5th and we waited until midnight to eat our wonderful tasting Coldstone cake.....Love Love their cakes......We ate and drank and laughed and hung out with friends.....I can honestly say that I don't remember the last time that I had a Birthday Party......It was so fun.....Also just the fact that my husband was home for my birthday was great.......First time in four years......So I was a happy girl.......Oh and my honey bought me a mountain bike......Pink and Black......I love love it.....Well with the exception of the seat which really hurt my bottom......But I found this really cool like gel filled seat that actually just slips over the seat.......So much better......Dominick and I enjoy going on bike rides together......At 10 getting him to anything with me or the family is big.......He is way to cool for that......So we rode our bikes to our old neighborhood and to the garden center and a few other places......Let me just say WOW it's been a long time since I rode a bike.......so that is pretty much what we have been up to.....Of course I have been making cards so I have a few to share........Let me know what you think....

My very dear friend Camille is always inspiring me and teaching me new things......She is so talented and I don't know how but she sure whips stuff out.....My craft room is pink and brown so one day when she came over for our Girls Stamping Day she brought me these great gifts......She is always showing me some new folding idea or a new website and I just love that about her.......She recently went to Japan and I had given her a list of Copic markers I didn't have and you would not believe how much cheaper they are there.......Amazing.......I think I got 11 markers for like $30.00 can you imagine that.......So thank you Camille for all that you do.......Your awesome.....

I really love this MM paper.......It's super old but for some reason I seem to have a lot of it.....So I have been trying to use it up......Pretty simple card I guess......
JUST A THOUGHT: Sometimes my Primas don't match the color combo I'm using so what have started doing is I just color a white prima with my copic marker and then it matches perfect

I love this Bella.....She is so cute.....Since I ride with my husband
of course I had to get this one......I am sad to say I have not used
it all that much.....I really seem to be on this blue & red kick...I
guess because it's almost Fourth of July.....I have been making cards
today but I need to take some pictures.......Soon I hope......Hope your

Hanna Challenge

Challenge for our Hanna Yahoo Group......

On my Hanna Yahoo Group we had a challenge to do and the inspiration
that Kristi at Hanna Stamps provided u with was so perfect and so me....
I love these colors......One of my favorite color combinations.....So I was
to mail to Susan so I made a 6X6 card that was already a day or two late
(shocking I know) so when I mailed it I didn't put the correct postage so I
got it back in my mail box.......Not good.....So it was going to be really late
now.....So I decided that I needed to make a small gift to make up for my being
late......So I made this little card set with some chocolates since it matched the
the paper I was using so well......We all love chocolate....I hope she likes it........

I covered some nugget chocolates with Pattern Paper and
added some rub-ons.....I used a tin from some Maya Roads
rub-ons or stamps that I got a long time ago......

These ar 4X4 cards and really are very simple
I used some American Crafts paper......SU Cardstock
and of course my copic markers........Oh and Riley from
Hanna Stamps.......The words are also from Hanna

Same thing here except that I added a few flowers

How cute is he.......I think this one is one of my favorites......
So this is what I sent to Susan I sure hope she likes it.....

You know when you make a card or gift that just comes together so well and you just love it....
Like it turned out even better than you had envisioned........Then you try to convince yourself
that you should just keep it for yourself.......Well that was me but I just kept pictures and it always feels good to give your handmade gifts to people and especially another crafter that appreciates the time and effort that you put into it.......Well I have more to post so better get going......Happy Stamping........

May Highlights***12X12 Layout

I'm not sure what happened with the photo but it
sure doesn't look as clear as my pictures usually come
out......Oh Well.....Projects always seem to look better
Hanging in my craft room than in a picture....So I was
inspired to do this layout a layout in Simple Scrapbooks
which had the same concept but I changed it up a bit.....
Shocking I know......May is always so crazy for us and I have SO
SO many pictures from that month that I don't even really know
where to start.......So this seemed like such a great solution
and a fast layout.......I am happy with the way it came out
except for the Chipboard letters I used for MAY.......I originally
wanted to use some lil' davis white chipboard letters but after
putting all the pictures down there just wasn't enough room......

I cut the numbers outs of white foam with my quickutz Star Numbers
I think and everything else was just scraps of Black & White Paper, Large
Heidi Swapp flowers and cute Maya Road black and white ribbon.....It would
be cool to do an album of these layouts for each month......We will see......It's
a great thought.......So what do you think?????

Cards For Mini Pizza Box

So I made four 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 plus Envelopes to put inside
the Pizza Box and wrapped it with a band and tag...
I was trying to use up scraps by punching circles and
using rub-ons......Very Very simple.....

This one I used the SU scallop punch and circle punches
and a rub-on and done.......I also embossed with Swiss dots

Well I guess with this one I dressed it up more
because I added two prima flowers and brads..
I love this stamp from Stampin Up.......

Two Weeks!

Wow......So yesterday made two weeks since I have posted on my blog....I am so bad at keeping on top of this......Although I have been busy working outside.....Planting and digging up weeds and getting the backyard cleaned up......My back is so tan and my front is not so much......Well I have been crafty and have finally uploaded pictures so I will go ahead and post now......Sorry I have been MIA once again.....Not that anybody noticed...Ha Ha....Have a great Friday......

Small Card & Mini Pizza Box

So I made this mini pizza box after my friend Camille made one for me.......It was just so cute.....So I thought that it would be a perfect gift to add some mini little cards (4x4 or smaller) along with envelopes.......I also added a band to close it........I love the way it cam out........Now I want to make all the mini cards inside with Riley.....Another project to add to my list of bright ideas.....I used all SU patterned paper and Cardstock and many different odds & ends that I have had around for awhile.....some rub-on stitching and sentiments.....It feels so good to use supplies that I have had for way to long......Now I have to find the pictures of the cards that I made to put inside......

I have been Scrapbooking!

Well I have been MIA again I know.....Seems like this happens often with me........Well May was an extremely busy month for us.......So I saw this layout in Simple Scrapbooks and it was a one pay 12x12 layout that had the highlights of the month on it.......So I have been working on that, I have printed my pictures and done the journaling.......So I am almost done......I am loving the way it's coming out.......I have the goal of finishing it today.....I went with black and white.....

I have also taken up gardening.......Which is a whole lot of work........But so rewarding I think......I started with seed and they are almost ready to transplant now......I am still kind of working on the whole design of the flower bed and still need to add some green........But it's so nice and I haven't killed anything yet which is really big for me.......I will keep you posted on that.......

I have also been working on some digital stuff.......I am a self-teaching kind of digital scrapbooker.....which isn't the easiest thing I will have to say.......But its fun learning.......
