More Cards For Heroes

Well I finally have another shipment ready to send off to http://www.cardsforheroes.org/.......I really enjoy sending cards for this it makes me feel like I'm contributing in some very small way.......Plus being a military spouse I know how meaningful it can be to get a simple card in the mail when you loved one is away.......I need to finish up my postabella cards and get them sent out.......So me to wait until the very last possible day to get them mailed out......Got to love it......I will check back later have a Happy Friday......Love Love

Not much going on here.....With Jared out of school we got to sleep in a little this morning.......I am now trying to get caught up on things.......I have a few more projects that I will put on soon......Need to edit so many pictures......Well maybe if I didn't take so many pictures I wouldn't have this issue......Have a great afternoon

Jared's Graduation

Only 2 More Days!

Well I keep hearing only two more days......Jared turns 6 and he is so super excited he doesn't know what to do......He has had a busy few weeks with Graduation (will post pictures soon) and the last day of school......Planning his birthday party, making the invitations, making the leis and planning the sleep over of four little boys........What fun we will have huh....We are so happy that daddy will be home for Jared's birthday and birthday party this year.....So enough with that........We had a very nice quiet weekend....We are working on some gardening which will someday prove to be a good thing.....I hope........you see I have a very BLACK thumb........I need to buy two fake plants when I buy three real ones this way at least two of the five will live right......Anyways so I have recently decided that I will turn it around........So we were out on Sunday pulling all those weeds and nasty things that were suppose to be plants I think.......So we had to stop because the trash can was full and we were extremely muddy........Shocking right......I will keep you posted.......well I need to finish up a few RAKS I would like to get mailed out today so that's all for now but I will be back later with pictures........Hope you are having a wonderful day!

This is a fun card and fun paper......I did a little paper piecing with their clothing but I think I should have added a small black ribbon maybe on the next one......It reminds me of my girlfriends that I get together with and make paper projects.....So fun

The Centipede

On Monday night I was out in the garage cleaning up and the boys were riding their skateboards and I saw this huge nasty centipede......So I sent Jared into the house to grab the camera.....And these are the pictures I got before and after I killed it......Some people are super afraid of certain bugs or insects and just flip out.......Not so much for me.......Now I wouldn't be one to have any type of pets that could escape and crawl up my leg or something......The boys and I were trying to figure out how many legs it had......I don't think I had ever actually seen a centipede until I lived here in Hawaii......Well just thought I would share......Nasty huh?

So I have been MIA for awhile once again because we have a lot going on right now......Jared graduates from Kindergarten tonight and his last day of school is tomorrow so we are excited about that......Jared also has a birthday coming up here soon.......He is going to be 6 how has that happened......So we are preparing for his party.......Dad was away for a few weeks but he is home now and working long hours so we don't get to see him all that much......So that sucks for us......

I have been a very busy getting some much over due house projects done......I finally cleaned out the garage and finished going through boxes and getting rid of the crap.......I have also been cleaning and purging my craft room....Always fun to find a bunch of stuff you forgot you had.......I even vacuumed in there which is a HUGE deal because usually there is just to much stuff everywhere to even consider getting the vacuum in the room.......So that makes me so happy......I will have to take pictures this weekend and post my scrap space.....I will go and post some cards how........Have a great day........Love Love

Well I have been selling Stampin Up! for about four years (wow) but for hobby only and sometimes when the mini catalog would come out especially in the beginning I would just LOVE IT! which must be how I ended up with so much Spring Flowers DS paper from the Spring Mini Catalog 2006.....I know I made Mother's Day cards once and a mini book but how come I found two unopened packages in my stash........Plus I have the opened one I have used some of......It was a little disturbing so I decided I needed to make some cards with this paper because at least if I use it I will feel better about the fact that I bought three packages two years ago and have yet to use it........O.K. enough about my issues.....So I put these simple cards together and made a handled box (will post that later) that holds I think 10 cards & Envelopes that I could just give as gifts.....I gave my first set to my friend Camille when we had card morning at Kellies house {thanks friend} and I brought everything for the girls to make four cards each and they were supper fast.......Let me know what you think.......I have some more that also go in a set and inside a pizza box......To cute........I have to take more pictures though.......

We Love Mrs. Smith

This is the name sign I made for Jared's teacher this year
we are going to miss her so much....She loved the gift for
teacher appreciation day or week and it was fun to make
I bought the frame from Wal-mart for a few dollars and I cut
the letters from foam with quickutz and the paper is Junkitz did

Some More Bella Cards!

Cakeabella.....I made this Happy Birthday card with some left over scraps.....I also used copic markers to color and nestabilities and SU Happy Birthday Stamp.....Size is 4X4

This is I think my first Fella Card......Beerafella with his beer covered up with the bottle cap which I stamped on with Stazon and I cut out Dad with quickutz

Goodluckabella with some left over scraps again, copic markers and stickles the picture looks a little blurry I hadn't noticed that until now....Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope everyone had a great day.....My boys were all so good to me this year....We went to brunch (oh and I ate to much) and I got beautiful flowers and balloons and cards.....I don't remember the last time I received balloons......It really made my day.......Well having my husband home for Mother's Day for the first time in about three years was the greatest gift of all.....I love you honey thank you....

I don't know why but I just love googly eyes......And they look so so cute on Riley....I used the same SU paper and SU stamps.....I also put some crystal effects on the cup and cupcake.....
